Description:

A mouth-blown glass bowl with thick glass foot which nestles inside its cylindrical walnut base. A contemporary serving piece for salads, dessert or fruit.

Materials & making:

Skilled glassblowers gather and blow the glass bowl into a wooden mould to create the shape. The rim is melted by a flame to create a soft rounded finish. The base is shaped from American walnut and treated with food safe oils to bring out the grain and depth of color. The wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests.

Care:

Handwash the glass in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the wood with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not leave immersed in water or place in a dishwasher. Allow to dry naturally.
