Description:

A mouth-blown glass bowl with tapered shape and stepped walnut lid. A contemporary serving piece for salad, fruit or desserts. Can be combined with other City bowls to build a nesting set.

Materials & making:

Skilled glassblowers gather and blow the glass bowl into a wooden mould to create the shape. The rim is melted by a flame to create a soft rounded finish. The lid is shaped from American walnut and treated with food safe oils to bring out the grain and depth of color. The wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests.

Care:

Handwash the glass in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the wood with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not leave immersed in water or place in a dishwasher. Allow to dry naturally.
